We were contacted by a construction firm that works closely with school districts to help them deliver a green wall for a secondary school on the upper west side. We teamed up with Naava, a Finnish based company who recently expanded to the United States, and used their self contained, self regulating, green wall system.
The Upper West Side Secondary School wanted this green wall to serve as both a green space as well as an educational tool for the students. We worked with the teachers to help develop a workshop and curriculum that uses this green wall to help provide the students with a hands-on learning experiencing and deepen there understanding and interest in horticulture.
